STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe there are essential truths in Scripture that unite all followers of Christ—anchors that hold the Church fast in the life of God.
We also recognize that Christians across the world hold diverse perspectives on secondary matters, and we offer liberty and grace as each person continues to grow in the lifelong journey of faith.
And above all, we commit to live and create in love—for love is the truest mark of the Kingdom and the clearest reflection of Christ in us.
The Essentials
The Bible
We believe the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—is the inspired, true, and authoritative Word of God.
Through the Holy Spirit, God spoke through human authors to reveal His heart, His story, and His invitation to participate in redemption (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:21).
Scripture is our compass and our guardrail. It both inspires our creativity and forms our imagination, ensuring that our art reflects the truth and beauty of God rather than distorting it.
The Gospel
The gospel is the good news that the Creator has entered His creation in the person of Jesus Christ to redeem and renew all things.
Through His sinless life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, Jesus reconciles humanity to God and restores creation to its intended beauty and harmony.
This good news is not just information—it is transformation.
It is grace-initiated, Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, and Kingdom-oriented.
It calls us not merely to believe but to participate—to live as image-bearers who make visible the invisible glory of God through our stories, our work, and our art.
Salvation
Salvation is the ongoing work of God—past, present, and future—by which we are rescued from sin and restored into right relationship with Him.
-
Past: We have been saved through Jesus’ finished work on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9).
-
Present: We are being transformed by the Spirit into the likeness of Christ (1 Corinthians 1:18).
-
Future: We will be fully restored when Christ returns and renews all things (Matthew 24:13; Revelation 21).
This salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is the foundation of our hope and the fuel of our creativity.
The Creeds
We joyfully affirm the historic faith of the global Church as summarized in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.
These ancient confessions remind us that we are part of a story much larger than ourselves—a creative and redemptive work that began before time and continues through the Church today.
Our Creative Conviction
As photographers, filmmakers, and visual storytellers, we believe that creativity is not merely expression—it is participation in the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).
To create is to echo the Creator.
Every image becomes a small act of worship, a mirror reflecting His beauty and truth back into a world that desperately needs to see Him.
We believe that when art is empowered by the Holy Spirit, it carries the presence of God and speaks to the human heart in ways words alone cannot.
This kind of art is life-giving rather than self-glorifying, marked by humility and holiness rather than ego.
In our creative work, we aim not to draw attention to ourselves, but to direct hearts toward the beauty, goodness, and truth of Jesus.
Why This Matters
In a culture saturated with images that often distort beauty, Kingdom Lens Collective exists to re-center the world’s gaze on the Creator.
We believe beauty is not trivial—it is theological.
When people encounter true beauty, they glimpse the face of God.
Art that is aligned with the gospel can awaken hearts, heal wounds, and re-imagine the world under the lordship of Christ.
We seek to create and curate such art—Spirit-filled, redemptive, and restorative—so that through every frame, heaven might break into earth.
Our Posture
We hold the essentials tightly, the non-essentials graciously, and all things lovingly.
We commit to embodying Christ not just in what we believe, but in how we create.
Our unity is in Jesus, our liberty is in the Spirit, and our love is our witness to the world.
